This is a guideline how all trades MUST be posted
1. Create a new topic in the Trade Review section, titled with team abbreviations (example: BOS – CHI)
2. In the description name teams in the trade and which players and/or picks each team receives.
3. Write down players contracts.
4. Be wary of your roster space, If your team exceeds the limit, write down which players are getting waived to make room. If you fail to do so the trade is void.
Any trade that does not have the full cap details posted in it will not be allowed to reach a vote. At a bare minimum, the cap change for each team must be posted. Ideally, we would like all team owners to know what their cap space is at all times and posted in each trade.
*Trades that are not posted in respect to this guideline, will be immediately VOID.
All trades will be reviewed by the Trade Approval Board
- This Board has the power to approve or veto trades.
- Trade vote needs to reach 3 votes for Pass & 2 votes to Veto.
- If the voting has not reached number 3 Passes or 2 Vetos after the 24 hour window, it becomes official as soon as it does.
- Please respect each TAB's vote no matter how they vote, if they gave a good explanation.
- New owners have a 48 hour Trade Ban so they can get familiar with their team before the trade PMs come pouring in..
Draft time voting exception
- During the rookie draft, all trades that will involve active draft picks, will get approved as soon as voting reaches either 3 approvals or 2 vetoes.
- 24 hour rule does NOT apply.
- This rule is in place to make sure the draft proceeds without any major
interruptions.
- No TAB member may change a vote once it has been posted.
