- *Since there is no Team options (Team and Player) after 4th year of rookie contract, that player becomes an RFA

Contract Extensions:
Every GM can offer an EXTENSION CONTRACT to ONE player each season who has at least ONE YEAR left on their contract.
-If a player is an RFA then that player may NOT be resigned, -they must have at least ONE year left on their contract. The extension contract may add up to 3 YEARS on a player’s current contract ..
Extension rules:
0-9.99 FPPG = 2.5% of the Salary Cap
10-14.99 FPPG = 5% of the Salary Cap
15-19.99 FPPG = 10% of the Salary Cap
20-24.99 FPPG = 12.5% of the Salary Cap
25-29.99 FPPG = 15% of the Salary Cap
30-34.99 FPPG = 17.5% of the Salary Cap
35-39.99 FPPG = 20% of the Salary Cap
40-44.99 FPPG = 22.5% of the Salary Cap
45-49.99 FPPG = 25% of the Salary Cap
50+ FPPG = 27.5% of the Salary Cap
*Must have 20 Games played in previous season, if not the FPPG will be taken by 2019 & 2018

Bird Rights:
- To clarify, the get bird rights to a player (Means you can offer a 5 year deal to a player in FA) you must have owned that certain player on your team right before they became a FA.. if you trade a RFA player the owner whom trades for that player now owns Bird Rights for that player
-5 Bird Rights per 5 seasons. Hard reset. RFA’s are included with bird rights .
- If you cut, release, trade a player before they become a FA you lose bird rights.
- All players waived during season/playoffs are not available for bird rights..
- All players picked up during playoffs are not available for bird rights or extensions..
